Some ten or more years ago I and my colleague went to see a web developer with a view to getting a website built. The price seamed to start at £10 k and I don't know if this is down to the actual work neeed or the fact that I turned up in a rather smart Jaguar XJ6. At the end of the conversation we asked just how much of the website we would be able to change ourselves, the answer was virtually none. This wasn't acceptable so we came away and looked for a solution.
We found it after a good bit of searching and since then have been building websites for ourselves and our clients using a cracking Content Management System, known in the trade as a CMS. Even at my age I can still do just about anything I want on our websites and so can our clients, what a difference having control yourself brings.
If you would like a free trial of our CMS pop along to the Cumbria Business Portal and register.
